Cinnamon Vanilla

A warm, cozy creamer with smooth vanilla and a gentle cinnamon spice. Simple to make, easy to love, and perfect for your first homemade batch.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Tiny pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream and sugar.

  2. Warm over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved. (Do not boil.)

  3. Remove from heat.

  4. Stir in the vanilla, cinnamon, and a small pinch of salt.

  5. Let it cool for a few minutes, then pour into a bottle or jar.

  6. Shake well before each use.

Tips

  • If the cinnamon settles (it will), just give it a good shake.

  • Want it stronger? Add a little more cinnamon or vanilla to taste.

  • For smoother texture, you can strain it—but totally optional.

Creamsmiths Notes

This is your “training wheels” recipe—but don’t underestimate it.
You’re learning the core process: heat, sweeten, flavor, adjust.

Once you’ve made this, you can:

  • Swap cinnamon for other spices

  • Combine flavors (cinnamon + caramel is fire!)

  • Start dialing sweetness exactly how you like it
